• Backcountry Guide in Yellowstone National Park for 17 years.
  • Also worked in Hunting Camps, Dude Ranches, as well as other backcountry venues including the Wind River Mountains of Wyoming, the Elk Range, and the Flat Top Mountains of Colorado.
  • Trained in First Aid and CPR for 19 years.
  • Serves as a member of the Church Emergency Response Team (CERT) in a 1,400 member church in Bozeman, Montana.

  • Completed graduate work at Montana State University in History focusing on Yellowstone National Park.
  • Instructor for 3 years at Petra Academy for History and Literature.
