• Backcountry guide in Yellowstone National Park for 17 years.
• Also worked in hunting camps and Dude Ranches, as well as other backcountry venues like the Wind River Mountains of Wyoming, the Elk Rang and Flat Top Mountains of Colorado.
• Trained in first aid and CPR for 19 years.
• Served as a member of the Church Emergency Response Team (CERT) in a 1,400 member Church in Bozeman, Montana.

Education:

• Graduated from Mapleton High School in Ashland, OH.    * Graduated from Hocking College, with an Associates Degree in Backcountry Horsemanship and Wildlife management.
• Graduated with a ranking 1st in Fire Arms and 3rd in Academics from The National Ranger Training Institute at Hocking College.
• Graduated with a Bachelors of Arts Degree from Ashland University with Honors.
• Completed Graduate work at Montana State University in History focusing on Yellowstone National Park.
• 3 year teacher at Petra Academy teaching History and Literature.
