On this trip, we’ll ride 10 miles to our riverside camp on Cache Creek, our home for the next three nights. Fishing begins as soon as we arrive, with abundant vibrant cutthroat trout in the creek’s pockets and pools. Those who prefer a break from fishing can explore Cache Creek on horseback, capturing alpine photography along the Thunderer, spotting wildlife such as buffalo, wolves, or bears, or stopping at a remote ranger cabin for a unique lunch. Evenings are spent around the campfire enjoying good food, stories, and relaxation. On the final day, we’ll fish near camp while guides pack up before riding back toward civilization, ending a memorable Yellowstone backcountry adventure. $3,131.00 per person (4 Day) |
Lamar Over the Top

Due to popular demand, we’re offering a second trip into Yellowstone’s wild Lamar region—a progressive horseback journey that goes deeper into the backcountry than most outfitters. This adventure explores Pelican Valley and the upper Lamar River Valley, where wildlife is abundant and interactions between wolves, bears, and bison are common. While the Lamar River Valley is famous for viewing wildlife from roadside, our trip offers a more intimate experience: buffalo may stroll along the trail near camp, bears forage on the hillsides, and wolves trot through the valley in search of prey. Starting at Pelican Creek Trailhead near Yellowstone Lake, this trip combines world-class fishing with breathtaking scenery and unparalleled wildlife encounters—a true backcountry paradise for adventurous anglers. $4,700 (6 Day) |

The Lamar River Valley is one of Yellowstone’s premier fishing destinations, with deep pools and large, active fish. We’ll ride up the canyon, away from the crowds, to access pristine backcountry waters. Bring your camera—wolves, bears, bison, and elk are often seen in the area. Along the way, we’ll share stories of the Nez Perce Indians, who traveled through this region while fleeing the army in 1877, combining history, wildlife, and world-class fishing in one unforgettable experience. $3,131.00 per person (4 Day) |
Fishing the Snake River
Sportsman's Lake

Ride with us to Sportsman’s Lake, a stunning high-country lake at the base of Electric Peak, during Yellowstone’s quieter late-summer season when wildlife is most active and the scenery is breathtaking. We’ll begin at Specimen Creek Trailhead, riding six miles to camp on the North Fork of Specimen Creek, then seven miles to Sportsman’s Lake, where we’ll spend three nights fishing, hiking, swimming, and exploring. The lake boasts healthy cutthroat trout up to 16 inches, and nearby a charming ranger cabin and corrals add to the adventure. Keep your camera ready—moose, elk, and even wolves are frequent visitors along the trail. $3,915.00 per person (5 Day) |
