He has worked in Colorado, Idaho, Wyoming, and now resides in Montana. After working in many facets of the guest and horse industry around the intermountain west, Yellowstone has always been the siren that keeps calling him back and he has called it home now for twenty-two years. Shane is fully licensed by the National Park Service as an outfitter and concessioner.

Sarah McClaflin, owner and operations specialist, has organized and set Sunrise Pack Station up to succeed. Every operation and checklist has been inspired by her. This place would come to a stand-still without Sarah. Besides organization, you may hear her lovely voice when you call and Shane is out on a pack trip or driving the team. She will do her best to let know you where to go and what to do if you have questions about your backcountry adventure or your horse-drawn excursion.
